I loved my room here, it was modern and well-equipped, and the staff were fantastic, plus the location is convenient to Union College.

The room was already A/C-cooled when I arrived on a day when it hit 100 degrees.

Maid could have done a little better job cleaning garbage from bringing in food was left for days otherwise everything else was good

The bed was exceptionally comfortable. The room was modern and convenient, equipped with a microwave, tea and coffee making facilities, and a fridge. The hotel's location was particularly good, close to the state street, an inside/outside restaurant, Schenectady, NY.

The front desk was courteous and the complimentary breakfast was good.

The toilet never flushed properly. I complained to the front desk as we were going out to dinner and they said they would fix the malfunctioning toilet. We returned from dinner and they indicated that I would have to hold the flush lever down during the flush? I told them that I was doing that (I am a home owner and have experienced this at home) but he then said they "snaked the drain and it is now fix" The toiled was not fixed and it malfunction for the duration of our stay. Very disappointing.

Booked a room with a great view in a central location near Union St and State St, there's a lovely indoor and outdoor restaurant, perfect for exploring downtown, the highways, and the surrounding area.

I did not like anything about this place! Bad location - dirty - and loud I would like a REFUnd!!

The waffle breakfast - make your own is a good idea. We also liked the variety of food for a small Days Inn.

The room was not used in a long time according to the staff. When we entered the room there were several spider webs and it was dusty and dirty around the sink area. The bed sheets did not have a fitted sheet on the bottom mattress and was mostly pulled off by morning. There was alot of noise coming from the room next to ours which lasted until 4:00 a.m. .

The daytime desk clerk was accommodating. The room was clean with a fridge and safe. Staff were friendly and helpful. Decent breakfast provided. Smells were contained in the halls.

There were spiders and spider webs in the room, and it smelled like deoderizer that was covering the smell of smoke.

Room was filthy, spiders throughout. Not located in safe area, lobby was locked during the day time.

The Schenectady Inn & Suites is a great place for a one-night stay. It is a fairly clean, smoke-free hotel with an unbeatable location in a secure area. The brand-new room was spotless with a good view. The staff, both at reception and throughout the hotel, were very friendly and excellent.

Good location that allowed me to take full opportunity of my trip.

Some confusion about my reservation but was quickly resolved.

The property is run down and in need of updating. Blankets with cigarette burn holes should be replaced. Cloth chairs are grimy.
